Antique Tokyo Palette
€125.00
Hand-crafted in small batches, this 12-color half pan palette is inspired by quiet landscapes, old Edo streets, and the gentle poetry of faded Japanese hand-tinted photographs.
With both rich hues and soft pastels, it’s perfect for abstract explorations, soothing landscapes, and atmospheric seascapes. It can shift from bright and playful to earthy and moody—depending on what moves you.
Each pan is handmade, a little quirky, and crafted with pigment, honey, glycerin, clove oil, and a touch of sodium benzoate (an antibacterial).
Please don’t eat them—they’re beautiful but not edible!
Your palette also includes (while supplies last) a large bamboo Chinese Calligraphy brush with mixed hairs to encourage loose, expressive strokes, and a San Palo stick for grounding and intention in your creative practice.
I originally designed this palette with 10 colors, but while creating it I felt inspired to add two more playful shades (Silk Road and Seafoam Shadow)—so they come packaged separately, like little surprises waiting to be opened!
Colors included:
Washed Redstone
Royal Turquoise
Faded Kimono
Edo Blue
Clover Field
Jade Pool (slight metallic)
Harvest Gold
Pale Bamboo
Warm Sea
Pagoda Shadow
Silk Road
Seafoam Shadow
Mix them with your favorite watercolors, inks and quache and see how they mingle—this palette loves to play!
