This triptych was inspired by the days around the summer solstice on Monte Morello, just above Florence.
Working with watercolor, ink, monoprint collage pieces and on heavy weight watercolor paper, I explored the quiet rhythm between land and sky durring a mid summer storm— simplifying the landscape into gesture, color, and movement.
The three panels are designed to be displayed together as a triptych, allowing the composition to breathe across the space between them.
Minimal yet vibrant, the work reflects the changing light and energy of the Tuscan hillside.
