This triptych was inspired by the view out my studio window on Monte Morello, just above Florence.
Working with watercolor, ink, graphite, monoprint collage pieces and oil pastels Strathmore watercolor paper, I explored the quiet rhythm between land and sky at night— simplifying the landscape into gesture, color, and movement.
The three panels are designed to be displayed together as a triptych, allowing the composition to breathe across the space between them.
Minimal yet vibrant, the work reflects the changing light and energy of the Tuscan hillside.
